Cancel within 14 days
Your legal right to change your mind about a quote, change or contract.
Step 1: Open what you agreed: the quote, the contract or the change from your project page.
Step 2: Find the box Your right to cancel. It shows the last day you can cancel.
Step 3: Press Cancel (the button names what you're cancelling).
Step 4: If you like, tell your builder why.
Step 5: Press Yes, cancel to confirm, or Keep it if you've changed your mind.
What happens next
Your builder is told straight away. A cancellation notice is saved in your documents and emailed to you both. The original agreement stays on record.
Good to know
- If you asked your builder to start work within the 14 days, you pay for the work done up to the time you cancel.
- Some things can't be cancelled, such as made-to-measure items or urgent repairs you asked for. See Your right to cancel, explained.
