Record a site visit
Record the walk-round or type notes. You check the points, then your client ticks them.
Step 1: Open a new site visit for your job.
Step 2: Read the yellow box Before you start out loud. Ask everyone there if it's OK to record. If anyone says no, press Write the points myself further down instead.
Step 3: In Who's here?, type the names of everyone present, including yourself.
Step 4: Tick the box to confirm everyone has agreed.
Step 5: Press Start recording. Put the phone in your pocket and talk as normal.
Step 6: Press Stop and save when you're done.
Step 7: Wait a minute or two, then refresh the page. The points appear in the card Agreed points.
Step 8: Check every point. Press Edit to correct one, Remove to delete one, or type a new one in Add a point.
Step 9: Press the Share button. It says how many points there are and who they go to.
What happens next
Your client ticks each point. Once they tick it, the written point is the agreement, not the recording. You can see them all in the agreed points for the job. Recordings are deleted automatically after 12 months.
Good to know
- Drafted points can mishear what was said. Always check them before sharing.
- If a point sounds like extra work, press Turn it into a change next to it so it's priced and agreed.
